Detailed Itinerary

1

Arrival in Entebbe – The Pearl of Africa Welcomes You

Touch down at Entebbe International Airport, where your warm and friendly Asili Africa Expeditions guide will be waiting to receive you. Drive to your lakeside hotel and unwind as you take in the evening breeze from Lake Victoria — the largest lake in Africa.

2

Scenic Drive to Bwindi – The Home of Giants

After breakfast, set off for the legendary Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The journey takes you through rolling hills, lush banana plantations, and traditional villages. You'll stop at the Uganda Equator for photos and enjoy lunch in Mbarara before continuing to your lodge tucked away in the rainforest.

3

Gorilla Trekking – Face to Face with the Mountain Gorillas

Wake up to the sound of birds and mist rising over the forest canopy. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a safety briefing before starting your gorilla trekking adventure. The trek may take a few hours depending on the gorillas' movements, but every step through the dense jungle brings you closer to one of the most powerful wildlife encounters on Earth.

4

To Queen Elizabeth National Park – Land of Tree-Climbing Lions

Leave the cool mist of Bwindi behind and drive north to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda's most iconic safari destinations. The route passes through the Ishasha Sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Keep your eyes on the fig trees — you might just spot a lion lounging on a branch!

5

Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise

As dawn breaks, set out for a sunrise game drive across the Kasenyi plains. The savannah comes alive with herds of elephants, buffalo, Uganda kobs, and maybe even a leopard stalking its prey. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where hippos grunt lazily in the water and crocodiles bask on the shores.

6

Final Safari Moments & Return to Entebbe

Enjoy a relaxed morning game drive before heading back to Entebbe. Stop in Mbarara for lunch and pass through the scenic countryside — dotted with rolling hills and friendly faces waving from the roadside.

7

Departure – Until We Meet Again

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and some last-minute souvenir shopping before being transferred to the airport for your onward journey. Your Ugandan safari may end today, but the memories — of gorillas, golden sunsets, and endless smiles — will stay with you forever.
